About O'Neill Chiropractic in Myrtle Beach

O’Neill Chiropractic is a friendly and warm place to visit. Many patients have told us it's the most friendly place they visit in Myrtle Beach!  We really enjoy helping people and think our work is fun! Don’t be surprised to hear whistling, singing, or laughing while you are here. A positive atmosphere is vital to the healing process.

Dr. O’Neill does full-spine adjusting techniques, with emphasis on upper cervical work. He uses techniques such as Gonstead, Thompson, Diversified, Activator and Torque Release. He has most recently studied BioGeometric Integration(BGI), which allows him to adjust the spine very gently while getting excellent results. He uses the latest in computerized examination equipment to check stress levels in your spine and nerve system.  He also specializes in adjusting all extremity joints. He is the only Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) in the Myrtle Beach Area. He cares for many athletes.

We also have a new and very unique device -- a "Shock Wave" machine that is similar to a Lithotripsy machine for kidney stones. We use this for shoulders, tennis elbow, plantar fascitis (heal pain) and more.

Since our focus is on Wellness, Dr. O’Neill carries many nutritional products and can make recommendations regarding nutrition for his patients if they so desire. This includes vitamins, minerals, joint relief products, Omega 3 oils, and many others. He also consults with patients regarding exercise and activities of daily living. Whether you're looking for health maintenance or relief from pains or symptoms, our office is the right one for you!

Cassie is our Chiropractic Assistant and is in charge of appointment scheduling, receiving payments, and she can answer most of your questions. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Dr. Tim Asks some important questions of interest to Myrtle Beach residents - Chiropractor Myrtle Beach Dr. Tim Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Myrtle Beach parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognize this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Myrtle Beach is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
